Rocket Sprockets began manufacturing sprockets
in 1992, since the beginning Rocket Sprockets have been a leader in new ideas and advancements in racing go kart sprocket design.
The first major change in sprocket technology was the introduction to the first truly quick change sprocket just by loosening the
mounting nuts just one or two turns the sprocket half can be lifted and rotated out of postion and then replaced by rotating back
into place by using the patented quick change mounting slots,which means the small parts never leave the hub which prevents lost nuts
and faster gear changes.
Rocket Sprockets was also the first company to offer the skip tooth design to the general public,and now offers
the first free rolling tooth design profile, which is a 82 degree angle all the way around the tooth profile on both sides of the
sprocket which reduces the chance of the chain catching the sprocket sides which reduces drag.Rocket Sprockets use only 7075-T6 aluminum
at .160 thickness for strength and longevity our sprockets are more advanced than any other sprocket on the market today
and each sprocket still has the the standard six bolt mounting method so you have a choice on how to mount your sprocket. NO other
